Synopsis

Route hijacking, misconfigurations, and route leaks are attacks to Internet routing that can cause major disruptions. What can we do to address and mitigate them and help secure the Internet? In this hands-on tutorial, we will discuss the problem with Internet routing and the available tools and techniques. The course covers RPKI framework, ROA creation, deploying RPKI validators and configuring routers for ROV.

Prerequisites

It is assumed that participants have a basic understanding of network operations, Internet technologies, OSI reference model, TCP/IP, Server OS i.e. Unix, Linux etc

Other requirements

Please bring your own laptop with WiFi, pre-installed virtualisation tool (VirtualBox or VMWare), and telnet/SSH client.
