APNIC supports Internet development in Myanmar
APNIC participated at the 2nd Into Myanmar Telecoms & IT Summit, with Senior Training Coordinator Wit Hmone Tin Latt presenting, "Growing the Internet in Myanmar". Wit's presentation addressed the efforts of the local Internet community in developing infrastructure, and ways APNIC can assist in growing the Internet in this part of the region.
Many economies in the Asia Pacific are experiencing rapid economic growth, such as Myanmar, which stimulates demand for Internet infrastructure development. APNIC will work with network operators and partner institutions in Myanmar to explore ways to assist that growing Internet community.
APNIC provides information, training, and supporting services to assist the AP Internet community in building and preserving a robust Internet environment. The APNIC Training portfolio is designed to help the AP community maintain a robust, scalable infrastructure. As more people in developing economies look to network engineering as a growing career path, APNIC provides highly accessible training to help network engineers make full use of Internet resources and effectively apply relevant technologies to their network deployments.
