Cryptography is an essential aspect for secure communication. It plays a major part in Network Security in general. This eLearning course will examine the different types of cryptography. It will look into some of the common cryptographic functions (symmetric vs. asymmetric algorithms) and how they are used in modern applications. There will be a detailed discussion of some of the encryption schemes and the algorithms behind them. Basic concepts of encryption and decryption, hash functions, and digital signatures will also be covered.

Participants with basic understanding of network operations, who are interested to learn more and implement Security.
