Synopsis:

APNIC is the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) for the Asia Pacific region responsible for distributing and registering Internet number resources: IPv4, IPv6, and AS numbers.

This eLearning course presents the processes and procedures in requesting Internet number resources from APNIC.

Target Audience:

This course is designed for network engineers, systems administrators, and anyone who is involved in managing Internet resources.

Pre-requisites:

Basic understanding of Internet networking and related Internet fundamentals.

  • IP Address Distribution
  • How to Get IP Addresses from APNIC
  • IP Address Request and Evaluation
  • Best Current Practices

Other requirements:

  • Updated web browser with Adobe Flash Player 11 or above
  • Broadband connection running at a minimum of 256kbps or better
  • Headset (to reduce noise)
